PhoneGap 1.9.0 Released! by Steve Gill | 30 Jun 2012 | PhoneGap Blog, Release We have just released PhoneGap 1.9.0! Thanks to everyone who downloaded 1.9.0rc1. This release focuses on bug fixes, the long awaited inclusion of Cordova webview on Android (Cleaver on iOS), and the inclusion of create scripts for Android, iOS and BlackBerry. This version of PhoneGap is composed mainly of bug fixes and the addition of Cordova webview for Android. Cordova webview (Cleaver on iOS) allows integration of phonegap, as a view fragment, into a bigger native application. PhoneGap 1.6.1 Released! by Steve Gill | 18 Apr 2012 | PhoneGap Blog, Release We have just released PhoneGap 1.6.1! The PhoneGap/Apache Cordova Community has worked hard to fix some bugs that arose from the 1.6.0 release that needed to be addressed immediately. The main issue driving this quick release was the incorrect xml folder that was included with the Android code that caused the network API to fail. The PhoneGap/Apache Cordova Community has worked hard to fix many bugs (including the nasty local storage bug caused by the iOS 5.1 update) and added some new features.
