Andre, You guys should come up with a few UI guidelines and the best practices for the Usability analysts to work on the trends and follow to provide best experience to their app users. In my recent experience I got opportunity to analyze on a few projects using Phonegap as Usability/Business Analyst and I came up with my own set of rules when I am designing/creating wireframes for a Mobile App with PhoneGap for more than two platforms ex. iPhone, Android, Symbian, windows....

If something i learned in my experience years is that anything is white or black. In the software world occurs the same, anything is all native or web. Mix this two worlds and you will have the best solution.

My magic combination sounds to be similar:
jquerymobile 1.1.0
cordova 1.7.0 jar
cordova 1.5.0.js
Seems to be relatively stable and plays well with each other.

The new .js files seem to be getting worse with each release.

Nobody uses Dreamweaver? That’s funny… I’ve been designing
sites for 16 years and used Dreamweaver since its conception. Tried many other
editors over the years and In my opinion, DW the best HTML editor out there and the only one worth

We use Dreamweaver almost exclusively and love it. There are lots of nice HTML coders out there, but we mix a lot of coders/designers and having the preview built into the IDE is what sold it for us. I can click the "Design" view and see what it looks like fairly accurately. This is without having to install local PHP/Apache servers on each computer. Our sites are all dynamic and the browser preview in so many other IDEs just do not work well with our workflow.

Thanks PhoneGap for making a great add-on for Dreamweaver!

MacDonalds is an extremely high quality restaurant. You can buy a Big Mac in London, LA or New York and you get virtually the same product. No two hat restaurant can scale like that. Just like phones, if you want to support one phone use the native SDK for everything. And for the next phone, start again. But PhoneGap scales.

"The ultimate purpose of PhoneGap is to cease to exist." – I love this. This is exactly how it should be! Thanks to PhoneGap devs for being able to separate the end from the means.
