Mobile app vs mobile site comparison

888Starz can be accessed on iPhone through both the dedicated iOS app and the mobile website. Both options provide access to the platform's main betting and gaming services, but there are several differences.

• Mobile App: the app requires installation, requires at least iOS 15.0 and takes up storage space. In return, it provides direct access from the home screen, faster navigation, push notifications for results and offers, and additional security tools. Updates are managed through the App Store.
• Mobile Website: works directly in Safari or another browser on any compatible device and doesn't require installation or additional storage. It does not need separate updates, as users always access the current version of the website. However, performance depends on the browser and internet connection, push notifications may be limited or unavailable, and users may occasionally need to log in again.

In summary, the iOS app is more convenient for regular users who want direct access to 888 Starz from their mobile device. The web version may become a practical alternative for occasional use, as well as for those who prefer not to install additional software or use an unsupported device.

Betting tools

Standard types of bets

• Single - a bet placed on one selected outcome in a certain event.
• Accumulator - a bet combining 2 or more selections from unrelated events. The potential payout is calculated by multiplying the stake by the total odds. If even 1 selection loses, the whole accumulator is lost.
• System - combines several accumulators of equal size. The payout is calculated by adding together the returns from all winning combinations. A payout may still be received if some accumulators lose.
• Chain - a sequence of single bets placed in a selected order, with the stake carried over as the chain progresses.
• Multibet - combines single and accumulator bets with an optional Lobby selection. If added, the Lobby must win, and its odds multiply the returns from the winning combinations. Without a Lobby, the Multibet is treated as a System bet.
• Conditional bet - a sequence of bets where the stake for each following selection depends on the return from the previous one.
• Lucky - combines single bets with all available accumulators from the selected outcomes. At least one selection must win to receive a payout.
• Patent - combines all possible accumulators created from 3-8 selections. At least one accumulator must win to receive a payout.

Additional betting features

• Advancebet - allows users to place new bets using part of the potential returns from unsettled bets. The available amount can be shown in the bet slip.
• Bet slip sale - an option to sell eligible single, accumulator or system bets before settlement, either in full or in part, at the price offered by the sportsbook. With the Auto sell function, users can set a target price at which the bet will be sold automatically.
• Powerbet - this tool can be used to boost an already placed single bet, allowing users to increase the potential winnings without changing the initial stake.
• Accumulator insurance - refunds the stake if only one selection loses in an eligible accumulator bet with 7+ selections.
